My name is Eryk Warchulski, and since 2021 I've been employed as an assistant at Artificial Intelligence Division which is a part of the Computer Science Institute at the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology. I'm pursuing my PhD in Computer Science under the supervision of Jarosław Arabas. Formerly, I used to work as a data scientist and software engineer.
My research focuses mainly on global optimization,
evolutionary strategies, benchmarking,
and the cornerstones of my PhD are CMA-ES and
DES
algorithms. I'm also intersted in industry applications of
optimization methods.
Besides, I devote my time and energy to HPC, network programming, and
machine learning.
I'm a linux enthusiast and my primary programming language is
C++. I am also fluent in C, TypeScirpt,
R, Python, and Bash.
